The Centre for Education, Innovation and International Development (CEIID) is a vibrant and prolific centre of research excellence, recognised globally for our research impact and outcomes. The team is multi-disciplinary and is currently engaged in addressing complex socio-technical problems around informatics, innovation and energy consumption in the built environment. The research centre includes three major research groups:
Disaster Resilience Research Group is focused on the development and transformation of the current disaster management techniques through digital innovation and technologies; facilitated by the combinatory aspects of people, process, technology and information. Award winning project of this group is 'Training In A Tab'.
Human Computer Interaction Research Group We collaborate with researchers and professionals from multiple disciplines including Psychology, Design and Marketing to evolve this focus area. We have expertise in applying user experience techniques and HCI design processes to interactive systems and its demonstration through experimentations. To maximise impact and the practical nature of our research, we also collaborate with industry nationally and internationally.
